Hello everyone and welcome to the very first episode of My Parents Review: Game of Thrones! My parents are uber-fresh when is comes to the zeitgeist of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire World and because of that, I thought it would be great to get their perspective of the complicated yet popular series. Stay tuned up until and through the new season for reviews from the older generation.

Finally we've entered the cosmic world of the MCU, my parents finally being able to experience the one and only God of Thunder, Thor! My parents were not looking forward to this movie at all, but some things turn out better than we expect, and how could that not be the case involving a movie with Chris Hemsworth's rock hard body? If you need to catch up on this series (ya jabronie!), click on the following: Captain America: The First Avenger Iron Man The Incredible Hulk Iron Man 2 For all you God lovers out there, check out what my parents had to say below in their review of Thor: It's week three of this experiment, which means it's time for the third movie The Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton as everyone's favorite green beast.
So far my parents have reviewed Captain America: The First Avenger and Iron Man, see how the big green giant compares in the review below. My parents review of The Incredible Hulk: How do I love thee, Peanut butter, Jelly, Sriracha sandwich? I love thee for the bread that contains with might All your fillings that I crave with every bite, Whether high or low in a deep, dark ditch. I love thee so, my body grows a twitch Uncontrollable through day and night. I love thee in my hands held so tight; I love thee in my mouth, forever your bitch. I love thee with added bacon or ham Or both, with some sliced banana too. I love thee with a love that knows no scam For your creamy sweet spice, I love thee; it’s true. Asphyxiation from inhaling all I can cram; I shall but love thee when transparent. BOO! Middle Of The Road: A Review Of A Mixtape My DAd Made Years Ago (Featuring Music I Use To Listen To)10/8/2014 Remember burning CDs? Before the age of the iPod or the Pandora's and the Spotify's, we use to all burn mixtapes onto CDs and played them in CD players. My dad was no different, having on occasion burned his own playlists, often times using music that I was into at the time. I think that was his point, he really only liked a few songs here and there that I was into, much like him only liking a few things about me *holds back tears*.
Anyways, just last week I stumbled upon an old CD mixtape in my car entitled Middle of the Road. I quickly realized it was one of my dad's from when I was in junior high. I gave it a listen and I was punched in the face with nostalgia, reinvigorated intrigue, regret, and just plain disgust over the music I use to listen to. My palette today is much different, though it was interesting to see what music I still dig now, and what I can't stand, and I thought it would be fun to review this playlist so you can perhaps go through the same internal adventure of rediscovery as I did. By the way, I had no clue then, and I definitely have no clue now, why my dad named the CD Middle of the Road. The title sounds smarter than it deserves. Follow me back to around twelve years ago to the early/mid 2000s, where the world was a much different place. Father's Day is this weekend and it's time to give the very special old guy in our life a very manly gift because Father's Day appreciation is only shown by the manliest of things....a good ole six pack of Miller Lite, cause it only takes six beers to get him to say "I love you." So I thought I would give my father the manliest gift of all, and that of course is the great art of Haiku poetry! You'll never find poems like these anywhere else, cause they are all from my heart, and all full of man...liness.
